Camping with the Boys!

Bryce Just got home from camping with Jake and his friends D.J., Dantley and Mike. They had a "GREAT" time They did a lot of fishing and just taking it easy. Geez don't they have it rough? Bryce loves to go with Jake and his friends. I think he wishes he could be their age and just hang out with them all of the time! Thanks for going with him Jakey!!!!

Lake Powell '09

WE just got home from Lake Powell and it was a Blast! The weather wasn't perfect but it was still nice to get away and spend time with the family. The boys were really good except for Stetson was really clingy with me and Bryce. I was thinking it was because we weren't home and he just wasn't used to everything but sure enough when we got home he had a fever and two new teeth coming in!! So I hope that was the reason for the attitude! I love this time of year and can't wait for our next stop...Flamming Gorge~!!!

Well I am finally putting up the picture of Stetson's birthday! He turned one on May 10th and I have been such a slacker getting the picture up. He is such a fun ENERGETIC little kid! I am so glad I have him and couldn't imagine my life without as what our family calls him our "little monster"!

We had an amazing day yesterday! I don't know if there is anything better in life then seeing your children having one of the greatest days of their lives. Grandpa Jim took us and Sam and Brett to see Thomas the Train up in Heber. Jace was so happy and excited. The train ride was so fun and they had a bunch of other activities to do. I don't know how much fun Stetson had cause we had to restrain him in the stroller most of the time. The funnest part of the day was when we were boarding the train the conductor says to Jace "The number one rule when riding the train is to smile!" so a few minutes later we look over at Jace and he has this pained smile on his face cause he was so worried that if he stopped smiling he would get kicked off the train. So we told him it was OK and he didn't have to smile all of the time. Then at the end of the ride the conductor walks by an d jace gets that same worried smile. He wasn't taking any chances!! I love how he is so obedient! It was a great day and THANK YOU grandpa for taking us! We love you!

Kaley is getting married!! She is marrying a great guy named Dustin. He was her high school sweetheart and she waited for him when he went on his mission. For Easter we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Great in Lake Havasu. Grandpa Rich had broken his hip a couple weeks before and was in a rehab center so we didn't get to see much of him. We hope he heals fast so they can come visit this summer!! We started our trip in Vegas where we met up with My mom and dad driving home from their trip to San Diego watching Jake play baseball. We all stayed at the New York New York hotel so it was fun to all be together on Easter. We spent one night there and my parents were wonderful enough to watch the boys that night so we could play with Bryce"s mom Terri and stepdad Scott. We had so much fun with them. We woke up that next morning to the easter bunny bringing easter baskets and hiding eggs in our hotel. The boys had so fun finding the eggs. Then it was off to Lake Havasu. We had so much fun relaxing swimming walking around by the lake and just spending time as a family. It was really nice to spend time with Terri and Scott and Grandma great. We love them and the boys had so much fun with them!! Thaks for coming with us!!

Well it's SHOWTYME!! Since it is starting to be warmer weather its time to get washing cars!! This morning before Jace could even get dressed Jace was outside helping his dad wash my car. He was so cute Grandma couldn't find a sweatshirt or anything for him so she put on one of mine!! So If anyone needs a car wash call us up and we will be there!!!!

Well Bryce's sister Natalie and her husband Jeremy are the new proud parents of Taylee Ann Thomas. She is a beautiful 6lb 4oz 20.25 inch little girl. It is the third grandchild on Natalie's side (first girl) and the first on Jeremy's side. So lets just say she is going to be VERY spoiled. Natalie did great and the baby is perfect! Good job Nat and Jeremy!!!

Our cruise

Well I finally put some of our pictures up. I still have a bunch of pics to put up courtesy of Leah and Deann but I will have to put them up later. So some of the highlights of our trip was the pizza, swimming pools, the weather, dancing til the wee hours, our family and friends, especially Max the cutest kid who I met on the ship and we became good friends, cocktail wars, and Wes winning Mr. Sapphire Princess which meant he was king of the ship!!! We also did a zip line in Puerto Vallarta and swimming with the dolphins in Cabo San Lucas. If anyone gets a chance to swim with the dolphins I highly recommend it!! It was awesome!!!!!!. In Mazatlan we just went to the beach and enjoyed the Mexicans coming up to us and trying to get us to buy their stuff. All around it was a great trip relaxing and enjoying some time to spend with Bryce as a couple not just as Mom and Dad. Amy was gracious enough to watch our kids and it was so nice to not have to worry about them!! Thank you so much Amy you are the best sister and I can't wait for you guys to go on your cruise and we watch your kids.

Well we just got home from a cruise to the Mexican Riviera!! It was so fun and the weather was amazing!! I have a ton of pictures to go through and find the best ones to post!! We wish that the rest of Bryce's family could have come. I think one of the highlights was swimming with the dolphins!! I will post pictures soon!

Stetson's first haircut!

Well we finally cut Stetson's hair for the first time. He really didn't need one except for the random like four inch long pieces. But he looks so cute he looks grown up!! Is there anything more cute then your little kids playing and loving eachother? That is what I have been experiencing lately is Jace and Stetson loving eachother. Stetson tackles Jace and they roll around already all BOY!! I never thought my life would be so full of boys!!! Now I couldn't imagine any other way I would want my life!!! I am so lucky!

Halloween Party!

Well we had a great Halloween party! It was so fun. We did a little scary thing where we had Bryce and I scare everyone. We also played some games and had a pumpkin carving contest. It all turned out so well and everyone looked so GREAT!!! I am so happy everyone came and can't wait till we can do it again! THANKS!!

Well Bryce just got home from his annual deer hunt with the guys. From the looks of things he had a great time. He shot his deer the first day so he got to basically enjoy the rest of the time. Here are some pictures of the hunt. They did a lot of fishing and shooting things with his pellet gun Wes and Kareina got him. (thanks guys for that one!) I know Bryce had a great time with everyone. Thanks again Wes for all you do for him!

Stetson's four month appopintment

Well Stetson had his four month appointment yesterday. He weighed 13lbs 8oz and was 26 in tall. And a big noggin just like his brother had!! It is amazing how fast time flies! He is such a good baby! We gave him cereal last night and he was so full he slept from 10:30 til 8:30 is that not the best?!?! I was so happy! He is so much fun. Especially with Jace. They are so cute together. Jace is the best big brother!!

Well we finally had Stetson blessed! He was getting so old I thought he could almost walk up there himself! It was a beautiful blessing (thank you so much Dad) My dad did a great job. And we had great supporters come. Thanks everyone for all the love and support!!

Olympic spirit!!

So watching the Olympics got me wondering what event I would be able to compete in. I tried trampoline and well that didn't go over very well. I thought about horse dancing but I don't have a horse. Then I thought how about swimming!! How hard could it be? Michael Phelps makes it look so easy....well I sunk. So I found the thing I could do!! With the help of a wonderful and graceful partner Bryce here is our attempt at synchronized swimming!! We had a fierce competition with Wes and Kareina and I have to admit they put up a HUGE fight. But with Megan as our judge she gave us the GOLD!! I think we could really go somewhere with this!

So Jace's birthday was July 6th and we had so much fun on his birthday. We were in Denver and went to the Rockies game where Grandma Kareina went and told the usher it was Jace's b-day so he had the whole section sing to him and they gave him a cute Rockies happy birthday pin. It was awesome Jace loved it. We also went on this really cool train. Then we came home and his Grandma Terri made him the most AWESOME train cake!!!! It was such hard work and she did the best job! Thank you so much!! We are so lucky to have so many people who are so great with are kids. We love everyone so much. I know this is a little past his b-day but oh well. Better late then never, right?

I also wanted to add a thank you to Grandpa Wes. You are such a great guy. You always do so much for everyone. I don't know if you realize how much everyone loves you. Thank you so much for the great camping trips and all the hard work you put in. It wasn't until this year with us having our own family that we realized what hard work it is to get everything ready. We appreciate all you do for us and miss you so much. But it is exciting to be able to go visit you guys in Denver. Thanks for being such a great grandpa. It's so nice to see that Jace and Stetson have so many people that love them. Especially Thanks for always being there for me through everything I have always known what a great supporter you are!!! Well it seems like all we do is vacation (and I am so not complaining) We went to Denver a couple of weeks ago to visit Grandpa Wes, Grandma Kareina and Megan for Jace's birthday. He just turned three!!!! But on the way home we lost the camera. So no pictures of that. But we had sooo much fun and can't wait to go back. So last week we went to the Gorge again with My friend Aimee, Jake and a few of his friends, Annie and Danielle. And of course Grandpa Wes and Megan.(Grandma K we missed you so much!!!) We had so much fun. I didn't know how much Jake and his friends liked to fish and EAT!! They were great to have around. Danielle and Annie were so fun also. Annie was a maniac on the tube while Danielle looked beautiful just basking in the sun. Meaning she was too much of a wuss to get in the water and do anything. But I think she still had a great time. They are all so good to take places. I love having them around. And they help so much with the kids. Thanks for coming with us!!!

He's finally here!

Here he is. Finally! Baby Stetson was born at 7:05 a.m. (after a long night). He was born on May 10th. He weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz.My mom, my sister Amy, sister-in-law Marie and I spent the night timing contractions and debating wether to go to the hospital or not. So finally at midnight I made my mom take me to the hospital (bryce was working the graveyard shift and had to leave work). So after a long night of anxiously awaiting his arrival he finally came! Jace is in love with his little brother!
Jace is a BIG helper! He is always helping with the feedings and taking care of him when he is crying. The other day when we were driving in the car Jace said, "Mom dont go fast!" and i was wondering what was the matter and he said, "I dont want baby Stetson to fall out of the car!" We find it so cute that he is always watching out for his little brother! We just love our babies so much!
